Ripparoo retains the original charm and atmosphere of a true alpine ski lodge. We specialise in very friendly, warm and inviting hospitality in a delightfully refreshed environment with (we are told) some of the best food to be found anywhere in Falls Creek.
Our 19 room lodge is in a prime ski-in ski-out setting and offers breathtaking views of the Bogong Ranges. Only 200m from both Halleys Comet Chairlift & Gully Chair Lift makes it close enough to ski ‘home’ for lunch. Ripparoo has a casual homeliness but with an attention to detail that will surprise you! All guest rooms at Ripparoo have linen and towels supplied and include a daily housekeeping check. Each guest room has an ensuite, complimentary toiletries on arrival, excellent free high speed WiFi & individually controlled Nobo heating.

Our guest laundry provides a coin slot washing machine & tumbler dryer. Laundry detergent, iron & ironing board are also all available with our compliments.
In peak season your daily tariff includes a continental buffet breakfast, hot breakfast of the day and a gourmet dinner (excluding Friday night). In value season (June & September) your tariff includes a continental buffet breakfast, hot breakfast of the day and a two course evening meal (excluding Friday night). 24 hour tea (including herbal) and local Honeybird plunge coffee are available at the servery. We provide a sandwich press, microwave and toaster at lunchtime. Cooking is not permitted in rooms. Our communal guest fridges provide space for lunch items and drinks.
Children (3 -14yrs) are served dinner at the special earlier sitting of 6pm – all healthy, home-cooked fare. Should your child wish to join you for the adult dinner, student rates will apply. Children under 14yrs are not permitted in the dining room after 7pm. With sufficient notice, our chef, Alistair Matthews will accommodate special dietary requirements.

1 Queen bed which splits into two slightly narrower, but longer than standard singles
Triple – Max. 3 people
1 Queen bed which splits into two longer, narrower singles with an elevated single bunk. One room with a view, and one slightly larger room without a view.
4 Share
1 Queen bed (can be split into two longer, narrower singles) and 1 bunk bed. Two rooms have a privacy partition,and a view.
5/6 Share (minimum 5)
1 Queen bed (can be split into two longer, narrower singles) and 2 bunk beds.
King Room – 2 people
A king bed which can be split into 2 x king singles, together with the option of a slide away trundle bed. Newly refurbished ensuite bathroom. Photo not currently available.
